With over 30 years of coaching experience, Bill can demonstrate and share his techniques and his secrets that resulted in his selection as the 2008 National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) National Coach of the Year. Other notable coaching honors include a 387-34-2 record, 5 Nationally Ranked Teams, 7 NYS Team Championship titles, 21 Section V Team Titles, 11 NYS Individual Champions and 34 NYS Individual Place Finishers.
Wrestling Coaches Clinic:
The Coaches Clinic will encompass the following:
• Establishing your mission statement
• Communicating your program to athletes, parents and school administrators
• Development of your syllabus for techniques and teaching progressions
• Development of winning wrestling skills and drills
• Approach to off season development
• Building programs at the lower levels, ie: middle school and youth teams
4 hour presentation
Wrestling Instructional Clinics:
All aspects of skill development which include:
• Philosophical approach to each position. Top, bottom and neutral positions
• Basic skills and developmental drills
• Proper warm-up and mental approach for competition
• Athletes approach to in-season training
• The advantage of keeping a personal training log
1-4 hour presentation. Time depending on the amount of content needed.
